Mika will share information about these transits, how to find these influences in our charts and how to ground ourselves through the changes that will come.
Tere will offer times to do lunar-based magic to build resilience and capacity for the challenging times of the year.
Otis will relate star stories to the magic of (r)evolution with a Queer and Trans perspective, inviting us to weave in our visions for liberation. He will offer healing modalities and a guided meditation to help us through transition.
About our panel:
I am Otis Bell, a queer transgender astrologer acupuncturist bodyworker herbalist mystic witch. This picture is me in front of my herb garden, I loooove the coastal mugwort, Artemisia, and I love Artemis too. I am part of the Reclaiming witchcraft community.
My ancestry includes hundreds of years of white settler colonial history in early colonies on Turtle Island, Appalachia and back to traditional peoples in England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Germany, and Sweden.
I come from those who lived and prayed at the edge of day or night, at the edges of seasons, and at the meeting edges of the earth, the sky, and the sea, tenders of the earth, animists, star-readers and storytellers, singers, herbalists, gardeners, and healers… and I have found them leading my path in all of these same ways. I come from ancestors who jump in cold water and every day I do my magic practice at the ocean at dawn and then jump in the ocean.
I live in the territory of the Lekwungen speaking people of the Esquimalt and Songhees First Nations (what is now called Victoria BC), and am originally from Duwamish territory (now called Seattle, WA) and Nisqually territory (now called Olympia, WA). I have always lived on the Salish Sea.
